Meet the Seattle Team Behind Bellows Air Duct & Vent Co. of Seattle

We’re the crew that shows up at your door in Ballard, Rainier Valley, or up in Shoreline when your ducts haven’t been touched since the Reagan administration. Every one of us answers to the same standard: camera-inspect before we start, camera-inspect after we finish, and no surprises on the bill. Colin Merritt built this Seattle team on that foundation, and it’s the reason homeowners here call us back for their dryer vents, their HVAC cleaning, and their neighbors.

Our People

Marcus T. - Lead Technician, Air Duct & Dryer Vent Specialist

Marcus has been cleaning ductwork in King and Snohomish counties for fourteen years, long enough to recognize a 1970s galvanized trunk line by the sound the brush makes going in. He’s NADCA-certified and handles our Rotobrush and Nikro rigs on the jobs where other companies send two guys and hope for the best. Homeowners in West Seattle specifically request him after he’s found dead birds, vintage toys, and once a fully intact 1988 Mariners pennant wedged in a return. He keeps a running list. Marcus trains every new hire on the camera inspection protocol - what to document, what to show the homeowner, and when to stop and explain before moving on.

Dana K. - Senior Installer, Duct Repair & Sealing

Dana came to us from commercial HVAC retrofit work and brought a stubborn precision that serves Seattle’s older housing stock well. She specializes in sealing compromised ductwork in pre-war Craftsman homes and mid-century ramblers where the original asbestos wrap is still intact and needs careful handling. She’s EPA RRP-certified and the person Colin trusts when a job in Capitol Hill or Queen Anne requires crawling through a crawl space most technicians would measure and walk away from. Dana lives in Beacon Hill with two greyhounds and a restored 1962 Chambers range that she’ll mention if you give her any opening.

Raj P. - Service Coordinator

Raj is the live voice answering when you call (833) 700-5198 at 11 PM because your dryer vent is backing up and your spouse is worried about the house. He’s been with Bellows for six years, knows every technician’s route and specialty, and keeps the schedule honest - meaning he won’t promise same-day in Magnolia during a November downpour unless he knows Marcus or Dana can actually make it. Raj tracks our 90-Day Done Right Promise in real time, flags any callback before it becomes a complaint, and speaks enough Spanish and Punjabi to handle most of Seattle’s multilingual households without putting anyone on hold. He grew up in Kent, studied logistics at Highline College, and still won’t let Colin forget the time he scheduled three Northgate jobs on the same Seahawks home game Sunday.

Jesse L. - Apprentice Technician

Jesse joined us in 2023 after four years as a residential painter, which turns out to be better preparation than you’d think for spotting where dust migration patterns point to hidden duct leaks. He’s working toward his NADCA certification while handling dryer vent runs, basic sanitizing jobs, and the camera documentation that backs every Bellows clean. Jesse’s the one who asks the questions other technicians stopped asking years ago, which occasionally saves us from assuming a “standard” job is standard at all. He lives with his grandmother in Lake City and has developed an unexpected specialty in navigating the access panels and false ceilings common to Seattle’s converted basement apartments.

One Standard, Every Job

The Bellows name has meant something in this region since 1984, and not because one person does good work. Colin Merritt built the Seattle operation so that any technician wearing the uniform carries the same obligation: camera inspection before and after, upfront pricing disclosed before a single tool is lifted, and the 90-Day Done Right Promise stamped on every invoice. If it’s not right, we make it right - no paperwork, no arguing. That applies whether you’re in a 400-square-foot Belltown condo or a 4,000-square-foot home on Mercer Island. The equipment changes - Rotobrush, Nikro, Abatement Technologies, Honeywell, Aprilaire - but the standard doesn’t. Background-checked, uniformed, and accountable to a live person at this office 24 hours a day. That’s the crew you’re meeting. That’s who comes to your door.
